  I have a matrix, IEnumerable<IEnumerable<int>> matrix, for example: { {10,23,16,20,2,4}, {22,13,1,33,21,11 }, {7,19,31,12,6,22}, ... } and another array: int[] arr={ 10, 23, 16, 20} I want to filter the matrix on the condition that I group all rows of the matrix which contain the same number of elements from arr. That is to say the first row in the matrix {10,23,16,20,2,4} has 4 numbers from arr, this array should be grouped with the rest of the rows with 4 numbers from arr. better to use linq, thank you very much!

• Importing data from a text file using python

  I have a text file containing data in rows and columns (~17000 rows in total). Each column is a uniform number of characters long, with the 'unused' characters filled in by spaces. For example, the first column is 11 characters long, but the last four characters in that column are always spaces (so that it appears to be a nice column when viewed with a text editor). Sometimes it's more than four if the entry is less than 7 characters. The columns are not otherwise separated by commas, tabs, or spaces. They are also not all the same number of characters (the first two are 11, the next two are 8 and the last one is 5 - but again, some are spaces). What I want to do is import the entires (which are numbers) in the last two columns if the second column contains the string 'OW' somewhere in it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

• Database design to hold multiple iteration measurements

  Hi All. I am new to sqlite and SQL in general. I am keen to switch from flat-files to sqlite for holding some measurement information. I need a tip on how to better layout the database, since I have zero experience with this. I have a ~10000 unique statistic counters that are collected before and after each test iteration. Max number of iterations are 10, though it could be less. I was thinking the following: CREATE TABLE stat_names(stat_id, stat_name); CREATE TABLE stats_per_iteration(stat_id, before_iter_1, after_iter_1, before_iter_2, after_iter_2, ...); stat_names table would hold mapping of a full counter to a uniq stat_id. stats_per_iteration table would hold mesurement data 1 + 10 * 2 columns. stat_names.stat_id = stats_per_iteration.stat_id OR maybe I should have a separate table for each iteration? Which would results in 1 + 10 tables in database. Thanks!

• Problem while compiling the code

  Can someone points me the problem in the code when compiled with gcc 4.1.0. #define X 10 int main() { double a = 1e-X; return 0; } I am getting error:Exponent has no digits. When i replace X with 10, it works fine. Also i checked with g++ -E command to see the file with preprocessors applied, it has not replaced X with 10. I was under the impression that preprocessor replaces every macro defined in the file with the replacement text with applying any intelligence. Am I wrong? I know this is a really silly question but I am confused and I would rather be silly than confused :). Any comments/suggestions.

  I want to divide a list in "a specific number of" sublists. That is, for example if I have a list List(34, 11, 23, 1, 9, 83, 5) and the number of sublists expected is 3 then I want List(List(34, 11), List(23, 1), List(9, 83, 5)). How do I go about doing this? I tried grouped but it doesn't seem to be doing what I want. PS: This is not a homework question. Kindly give a direct solution instead of some vague suggestions.

  I have a long list of li's. <ul> <li> <img src="test.jpg"> </li> <li> <img src="test.jpg"> </li> //etc Each li has this styling: width: 10%; display: inline-block; vertical-align: middle; When I get to more than 10 li's in a row, they go on to the next row. Is this the correct way to do it? or should I wrap each 10 li's into something that breaks the line? What the best/correct method? i intialy chose this method as it would be easily to loop out data from a database.

  I have a question about the table beneath my question: If i was told that the given min.support=10%, how can i know what is the support count, by which i will use during the exercise? What i know is: that you take the number of transactions (8) and multiple it by the min.support: 8*(10/100)=0.8 the problem is that i get this number: 0.8, how can i use this support count during this example?? 0.8 is a number that will make me prune all combination set that i will build... please help me!!! • View OS X Desktop on windows remotely at higher resolution then hosting machine

  I have a new macbook air 11, which I do some web based programming on, I have a windows box with a 1920x1200 display which I'd like to use to view the mac desktop and keep working at home when I can - taking advantage of the higher resolution screen and full sized keyboard/mouse. I don't think VNC or such is the answer I'm looking for as it would restrict the display to the airs 1366x768 - negating the main benefit more lines of text on screen. From some rudimentary googleing I think I'm after some sort of x-windows / x-11 remote display. But I'm not a Linux user and any discussion seems to be about linux os x or windows Linux setups. Can anyone provide a clear set of instructions on how to do this or an application that can do this.

  I am new to VBA and I am struggling trying to make this work. I am in need of a macro that will process each cell\column on Sheet1 and put the results on Sheet2. I'm sure this is pretty easy for those who are more advanced with VB code. It contains many columns.. Anytime we encounter a — or an empty cell, we populate the cell with -999 (see the example on Sheet2) on the first column, which contains "0-2". Then we create 2 new columns and populate them with 0 on the first column and 2 on second column (see example on Sheet2). If a value is found on only one side, we then populate both sides with the same number. Val* operator[](Key k); What happens when a user writes: Map<int,int> myMap; map[10] = 3; Doing something like that will only overwrite a temporary copy of the [null] pointer at Key k. Is it even possible to do: map[10] = 3; printf("%i\n", map[10]); with the same operator overload?

• Forward traffic between two VLANs.

  I have a small network with two VLANs. One is our internal network for basic file sharing, etc and the other is a public wifi network for our customers. The internal network is configured as 192.168.1.x and the public wifi is 192.168.11.x. We have one printer at 192.168.1.50. I would like to be able to have that printer available to our customer at 192.168.11.50. I suspect it can be done with iptables, but I'm brand new to it and I just can seem to work out the syntax. The problem I have is that after the first 10-15 executes of an average of 1-2 seconds each time, the next 10-15 seem to never finish. Am I doing this correctly? How should I do this? Thanks!
